How to Play

Shoot down and defeat an approaching alien armada. Beat all 5 stages to save planet Earth.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the splash screen to begin.
    • Left click or tap to move past the game’s tutorial slide to reach the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Start to begin.
    • Select Info to see the score value table for the aliens you shoot.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the left and right arrow keys to move left or right.
      • Your ship automatically fires.
      • Press the P key to pause the game.
      • Press the S key to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the left and right arrows to move.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right)
    • Level number
    • Score
    • Pause button
    • Menu button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
    • Audio button: Indicates whether the game’s sounds are on or off
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You begin with an approaching armada of enemy aliens in formation.
      • A few aliens will pass through in between them.
      • Your ship automatically shoots at the aliens.
      • Likewise, the aliens will shoot at you.
    • Move the ship from left to right to attack the alien armada and dodge their attacks.
    • To clear the level, destroy all the aliens in the armada.
    • Don’t let the alien armada reach the bottom of the screen.
      • At a certain point, you cannot shoot the aliens.
      • If you get hit by the aliens, you fail the level and must start over.
  • Levels
    • All 5 levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • You automatically begin each session on the first level.
  • Scoring
    • Each alien you defeat is worth a different number of points.
      • Check out the table below to see their values.
    • Each time you die, the points you’ve earned are cleared.
      • Maximize your score by completing the entire game on a single life.
  • Tips
    • Shoot the enemies near the bottom of the screen first, as you have less time to respond to their shots & if they get even with your ship or past you there is no way to shoot them.
      • Quickly move to the side after shooting nearby enemies in case they shot back at you around the time you fired.
    • The special alien that moves left to right across the top in the background does not need to be defeated to beat a level, but repeatedly beating that alien can help you maximize your game score.
      • All other aliens need shot to beat each level.
    • Be careful not to run into any aliens as the level ends, or else your score will get reset in spite of moving onto the next stage.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple space shooter games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
