How to Play

Kill off the invading scorpions by planting bombs near them. Be careful not to blow yourself up.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen, select Start to begin.
  • On the bottom center of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select Help on the left to open the game’s tutorial.
    • Select Exit on the right to quit the game.
  • On the top left corner of the screen are the following controls:
    • Select the enlarge button to switch between windowed and full screen modes
    • Select the music button to turn the game’s music on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the arrows to move.
      • Press the space bar to drop a bomb.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers
      • Tap and hold anywhere to bring up the control circle.
      • Tap on the control circle to move.
      • Tap on the bomb button to drop a bomb.
  • Controls and indicators (bottom row, left to right)
    • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
    • Bomb button (touchscreen only)
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Getting around
      • You can move through clear ground and through foliage.
      • You cannot go through wooden fences or brick walls.
      • You can use bombs to clear your path.
        • Your bombs cannot destroy brick walls.
    • Objectives
      • Kill the invading scorpions before they kill you.
        • Plant bombs at the right time so that the scorpions walk into the range of fire.
        • Make sure you’re nowhere near the bomb’s range when it goes off.
        • Don’t let the scorpions catch you.
      • You have clearance to blow up any fence that stands in the way.
  • Winning vs. losing
    • You win the moment all the scorpions in the level are dead.
    • On the win screen are the following options:
      • Select the reset button on the left to play again.
      • Select the home button at the center to return to the x screen.
      • Select the arrow on the right to load the next level.
    • You will lose if:
      • A scorpion hits you.
      • You get caught in the crossfire of your own bombs.
    • When you fail, the game automatically reloads the level.
  • Levels
    • There are 20 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.
