How to Play

Move across the platforms to collect keys and unlock gates. Knock your head off and put it back on as needed to activate temporary platforms and move throughout the game.

• Starting the Game
  • Press anywhere on the welcome screen to start the game.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen have buttons for controlling game music, controlling game sound, and game developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Press the left arrow key to move left.
    • Press the right arrow key to move right.
    • Press the up arrow key to jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on-screen controls.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper right corner has a pause button.
    • The pause button reveals a menu with buttons for resuming play, controlling sound, controlling music, and returning to the welcome screen.

  • Basics
    • This is a logic puzzle platformer where you must alternate your head status and collect keys to make your way.
      • Each time you collect a key it unlocks barriers of that color.
      • There are 2 different key colors which unlock different barriers.
    • Head knocking
      • In this game you knock your head off by passing through gaps which are 1 square tall.
        • You must be walking on a platform to knock your head off.
        • You can not knock the head off by passing through a small area while jumping.
      • You can put your head back on by running into it.
      • When you cycle your head status some platforms will become invisible (allowing you to pass through them) while other platforms will become solid (allowing you to walk on them).
  • Levels
    • This game does not have discrete levels, but rather has you go through a series of puzzles where you can go back and forth repeatedly.
    • In some cases you need to go back 3 or 4 screens to knock your head off in order to advance through the current screen you are on.
    • You can’t actually die in this game as there are no enemies. You simply need to find out where you should knock your head off & when you should reattach it to proceed through the game.
  • Tips
    • When you knock your head off it matters what side of a block you are on.
      • Sometimes you need to jump over a block and knock your head off from the far side and then come back to move across an activated temporary platform.
    • You frequently have to backtrack in this game.
      • In most cases you only need to backtrack a screen or two, though sometimes you may need to go back around 4 or 5 screens.
      • If you can’t go back far enough to knock your head off it means there is a way to knock it off in one of the screens you can reach.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple platforming games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
