How to Play

Race through a racecourse as fast as you can. Beware of obstacles and complex turns.

    • Use the up arrow key to accelerate.
    • Brake using the down arrow key.
    • Controlling direction and speed with a single hand can get uncomfortable, so I preferred to use my left index finger to keep the up arrow key pressed in and use my right hand to control the left and right movements.

    • While this game may load on touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.

    • Choose between the following Loud siblings. Each has their own top speed, acceleration and handling attributes.

    • Pick between 3 different racetracks.
      • Turbo Tabletop, with a difficulty of 5 out of 10.
      • Floor It, with a difficulty of 7 out of 10.
      • Garden Grinder, with a difficulty of 9 out of 10.
      • Races are fast with the initial track times taking between about 1 to 1.5 minutes for 3 laps.
  • Navigating the course
    • Avoid pits, leaves, clips, discarded peanuts, and oil slicks.
    • Use speed boosts to go faster.
    • Collect coins along the way.
  • Beating the course
    • To beat the course, you must finish each course at a much shorter time than the previous record.
    • Finish the course in three laps.
  • Tips
    • Keep as straight a line as you can, especially when using the speed boosts.
    • Use the left and right arrow keys only when turning and avoiding obstacles.
    • Make your coin collection runs distinct from your racing runs.
    • Take advantage of shortcuts in the track construction to gain an advantage.
