How to Play

As a worm, hunt for pellets and evade the other worms for as long as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • At the bottom of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select Play once you’ve typed in your username to begin.
    • Select the namespace to type in your username.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.

    • With your mouse, left click and hold to steer the worm.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen and hold to steer the worm.
  • Controls and indicators (top right corner, top-down)
    • Leaderboard

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • The worm automatically moves forward.
      • Steer the worm by selecting and holding. Move your mouse or fingers to move the snake.
      • An indicator appears each time you hold down to show you which direction you are moving.
      • Unlike in most versions of Snake, you can pass the worm through its own body. This is vital for many situations where must avoid other worms.
    • Eat as many of the pink pellets as you can.
      • In most cases, you don’t need to be physically touching the pellets to eat them. They move toward you.
      • Pellets that form after a snake dies can only be eaten when you touch them.
    • Eat the magnifying glass to zoom out your screen and increase your line of sight.
      • Eating extra magnifying glasses while the first one is in effect will zoom you out further.
      • Their effect, while long-lasting, isn’t permanent. Keep eating magnifying glasses to stay zoomed out.
    • You can eat a lot of the pellets at once by moving over to the remains of a snake that perished.
      • When snakes die, they leave behind a trail of edible pellets, which last for a little while before they disappear.
      • The larger the snake, the longer the pellet trail and the larger the value of the pellets they leave behind.
      • Eating the remains of a larger snake can help you grow in size quickly.
    • If you run into a worm or the wall, you die.
      • If a worm hits you, they die.
    • You can do 360 degree turns and move through your own tail without dying.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points by eating pellets and growing in size.
    • You gain points very slowly, at least at first.
    • You can view your high score on the game over screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like Snake games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
