How to Play

Customize and assemble a romantic jigsaw puzzle.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and drag the puzzle pieces to their correct places.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe on the puzzle pieces to assemble them.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right):
    • Top row:
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s music on or off
      • Hamburger button: Returns you to the puzzle selection screen.
    • Bottom row:
      • Shuffle button: Shuffles the puzzle pieces around
      • Solve button: Solves the puzzle for you
• Game Play
  • Customize your puzzle.
    • Choose from 8 different Valentine’s Day- or Star Festival-themed puzzles.
    • Pick a puzzle size:
      • 2 x 3
      • 3 x 3
      • 6 x 5
      • 7 x 5 (default)
      • 7 x 6
      • 8 x 6
      • 13 x 9

    • Pick a difficulty mode:
      • In easy mode, a faded version of the finished image appears on the background.
      • In normal mode, the space to assemble the puzzle is blank. You must work out the entire puzzle by yourself.
      • The game also gets more difficult the more pieces you choose to assemble.
  • Assemble the puzzle.
    • At the start of the game, the puzzle pieces are scattered around.
    • Each time you find puzzle pieces that match, they snap together.
    • Each puzzle piece that is in the correct location snaps into place.
  • Tips
    • Start with the corner and edge pieces.
    • Arrange each of the puzzle pieces according to color. Similar parts of the picture often have similar color schemes.

The Star Festival versus Valentine’s Day

In East Asian countries, the lover’s holiday is the Star Festival, which is tied to the appearance of the stars Altair and Vega in the sky. The story’s details vary from country to country, but the basic plot is the same. The stars were said to be lovers, forbidden by the gods to meet except on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunisolar calendar. It’s known by different names in different countries:
