How to Play

Form a full line of Xs or Os on the grid to win. Every three moves, you must change on of your marks to an empty space.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin.
  • On the top right corner of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the enlarge button to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
    • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Select the language controls on the bottom center of the welcome screen to change the game’s language.

    • With your mouse, left click on a space to place or remove your mark.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the space with your fingers to place or remove your mark.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Reset button: Quits the current game and starts a new one

      • Enlarge button
      • Speaker button
    • Bottom center:
      • Player score

  • Basic rules
    • This is a two-player game.
      • You and your friend must choose who plays X and who plays O.
      • Who goes first alternates between rounds. On one round, X goes first. After that, O goes first.
    • The game plays much like the original tic-tac-toe:
      • You begin with a 3 x 3 grid.
      • Place your marks (Xs or Os) onto the grid.
      • Keep playing until you form a full horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row of 3.
    • Unlike regular tic-tac-toe, however, you cannot end this game in a draw.
      • Both you and the computer player get 3 moves each.
      • If you are unable to win by the third move, you must remove one other piece and put it elsewhere.
      • This continues until one of you wins.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on the number of rounds you win.
    • You can keep playing for as many rounds as you want.

  • The game is suited for players who like tic-tac-toe games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
