How to Play

Move down the tower and collect as many coins as possible. Reach th4e bottom of the tower without getting attacked by monsters or succumbing to traps.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play on the bottom center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • The coins you collected can be seen on the top right corner of the welcome screen,
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the left and right arrows to move from side to side.
      • Press the up arrow to jump up.
      • Press the down arrow to jump down.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap and swipe to the left and right to move from side to side.
      • Tap and swipe up to jump up
      • Tap and swipe down to jump down.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Pause button: Pauses the game and opens the pause menu. The layout of the buttons are identical to the win and game over screens.
      • Hamburger button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Reset button: Restarts the level from the beginning
      • Play button:
        • Resumes the game if selected from the pause menu
        • Plays the next level if selected from the win screen

• Game Play
  • Character selection
    • The currently selected character is shown above the play button on the center of the welcome screen.
    • Select the arrows to the left and right of the character in the center to browse and choose a different character.
    • There are 4 playable characters to choose from.
      • Only one of the characters is available at the start of the game.
      • Unlock the other characters by paying the amount of coins shown above them.
      • Select the buy button that replaces the play button on the bottom center to purchase the playable character.
  • Basic rules
    • Move the character around one space at a time.
    • Large blocks stand in your way.
      • You character will destroy any block that stands in your way.
      • Cracked blocks will give out after a few seconds of you standing on them.
    • Take out enemies by moving toward them or falling on top of them.
      • Enemies will take you out if they touch you from behind.
    • Avoid traps like cannons and fire ball shooters.
      • You can destroy traps the same way you can take out enemies.
      • Any shot from these traps will instantly kill you.
      • Reach the bottom of the tower without dying to finish the level.
    • Clear the level by dropping down to the platform at the bottom of the tower.
  • Coins
    • Pick up coins as you move down each level.
      • Your coins are only added to your total if you reach the bottom.
    • Use the coins you’ve earned to unlock new playable characters.
      • The knight costs 10 coins to unlock.
      • The knight with a morning star costs 50 coins to unlock.
      • The wizard costs 100 coins to unlock.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially. Finish one level to move onto the next.
    • Each time you reload the game, you automatically start at the last level you’ve unlocked.
      • This is indicated on the level number below the player character.
      • You can only replay a level by selecting the reset button on the win screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple platformer games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
