How to Play

Solve a 3 x 3 slide puzzle based on various scenic locations around the world.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to begin.
  • On the top row are the following controls:
    • Select the enlarge button on the top left corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
    • Select the gear button to open the game’s audio controls. Turn the switches on or off to toggle the game’s music and sound effects.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

  • Basic rules
    • You start with a scrambled set of 8 tiles on a 3 x 3 grid
      • The top left corner of the game screen shows the final picture in miniature.
      • There is a gap where the 9th piece should be.
    • Move the tiles to return them to their correct position on the picture.
      • You can move 2 tiles at once by sliding the second tile from the space.
      • After playing for awhile, the game will show you the correct position of all the tiles.
      • Keep moving the tiles until you form the entire picture.
  • Levels
    • Levels consist of a single puzzle. Solve the puzzle to complete it.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially:
      • You begin with only one puzzle unlocked.
      • Finish one puzzle to unlock the next.
    • There are 24 levels in this game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on how fast you solve the puzzle and how many moves it takes to do it.
  • Tips
    • Place the top left (first) tile on its proper location immediately. Once it’s locked in, you wouldn’t need to move it anymore.
    • Place the top right (third) tile on the top center, where the second tile will be.
      • This will make it easier to solve the puzzle.
      • If you move the second tile into position too soon, you might still need to move it again.
    • Move the bottom right (seventh) tile below the first one, then move the center left (fourth) tile to the center.
      • Move them out of position if you need to.
      • Once they’re in place, the seventh and fourth tiles into position.
      • From there, it’s a matter of rotating the last 3 pieces until they reach the proper positions.
