How to Play

As a fox, jump over and slip under the traps set to catch you.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center cage to begin.
    • Select the music button at the right cage to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Your high score is shown on the bottom center of the welcome screen.

    • With your keyboard, use the space bar to jump. Press the space bar again mid-jump to double jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the up arrow to jump
      • Tap on the up arrow mid-jump to double jump.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Score
      • X button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
    • Bottom left corner
      • Up arrow

  • Basic rules
    • The fox automatically runs after a brief cutscene.
    • Jump or double jump to avoid various obstacles.
    • Collect coins for extra points.
    • Keep running for as long as you can.
    • If you hit a trap, it’s game over.
  • Obstacle avoidance
    • Traps on the ground are easy to avoid by jumping.
      • These include bombs, spring traps, and cages.
      • If the ground objects are too close together, double jump to evade them.
    • Hanging cages will hit you if you approach them. To avoid them, simply walk under them.
    • Ice on the ground can bring you closer to the obstacles.
    • Time your jumps with care to avoid traps that are clumped together.
  • Scoring
    • You slowly earn points as you run.
    • Earn 6 extra points by collecting coins.
    • Your most recent and best scores are shown on the game over screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who are crazy and cunning like a fox.
