How to Play

As a dinosaur, you have 3 chances to run as far as you can. Avoid tripping over the boxes.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score:
    • Select Score on the welcome screen to view your best score so far.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to jump.
    • With your keyboard, use the space bar to jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to jump.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Your lives are shown on the top left corner.
    • Your score is on the top right corner.
    • The pause button is on the bottom center.
• Game Play
  • Keep running for as long as you can.
    • To begin running, left click or tap on the screen or hit the space bar.
    • From there, the dinosaur keeps moving forward by themselves.
    • Left click, tap, or hit the space bar to jump.
  • Avoid obstacles.
    • Obstacles come in the form of boxes.
    • You can jump over them or jump on them.
    • Do not try to run through them, as you will trip and lose a life.
  • Pay attention to your lives.
    • You only have 3.
    • Each time you lose a life, you start over from the beginning of the course.
    • Lose all your lives and it’s game over.
  • Your score is based on how far you run.
    • Your previous score carries over to your next try. This goes on while you still have lives.
