How to Play

Move the turtle up the rock using the pegs. Reach the top of the rock to beat each level.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top left corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • The number of coins you’ve won is shown on the bottom center of the screen.
    • Select Reset Levels on the bottom right corner to clear your previous game data.

    • With your mouse, left click and pull back to move the turtle.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to move the turtle.

  • Basic rules
    • Aim and launch the turtle at the rock to move upward.
      • Use the pointer to move the turtle to the desired direction.
      • The further you pull back, the farther the turtle will go.
      • Don’t make the turtle’s launch too strong; you’ll risk missing the pegs.
    • The turtle will attach itself to any of the closest pegs available.
      • Climb up by launching the turtle toward more pegs.
      • Beat the level by launching the turtle toward the flag.
    • Don’t overshoot. If the turtle misses any of the pegs, the game ends.
    • Collect coins on the way up.
  • Level features
    • Pegs
      • Pegs are the only thing the turtle can latch onto.
      • The turtle must land on at least one peg to hang on.
    • Spiked balls
      • Spiked balls are a recurring hazard. They appear in various spots in many levels.
      • Touching the spiked balls is an instant game over.
      • Sometimes, coins can be found near spiked balls, which can make collecting them extra difficult.
    • Moving platforms
      • Moving platforms act as barriers for the turtle.
      • These can appear either as horizontal moving walls or spinning propellers.
  • Levels
    • There are 20 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Coins
    • Each coin you collect has a value of 10.
    • When you replay a level and collect more coins, the extra coins you collected will be added to your total score.
      • If you fail, the game will not deduct coins from your previous total.
