How to Play

Swap the positions of candies which are adjacent to create valid vertical or horizontal runs of 3 or more consecutive identical candies.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • On the top left corner of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the music button to turn the game’s music on or off.
    • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to select.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to select.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Game screen:
      • Top row (left to right):
        • Best score
        • Current score
        • Pause button: Pauses the game and opens the pause menu
      • Bottom center:
        • Timer bar
    • Pause menu (center, top-down):
      • Resume: Return to the game
      • Restart: Starts the game from the beginning
      • Menu: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Bottom row (left to right):
        • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on or off
        • Music button: Turns the game’s music on or off
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Form groups of 3 or more identical candies to remove them from the grid.
      • Select one candy.
      • Swipe the candy to its neighbor to have them switch places.
      • If the candies form a valid row, they will be cleared. Otherwise, the candies you moved will return to their original places.
    • Repeat the process until the timer expires.
      • Each time you clear a line you add seconds to the timer bar.
      • The game ends when you run out of seconds on the timer.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 2 points per candy cleared. The smallest number of points you can receive in a single move is 6.
    • Your best score updates in real time.
    • You can compare your latest and best scores on the game over screen.
  • Strategy
    • As you create sets it adds bonus time onto the game timer at the bottom of the screen.
    • If you play low on the screen to make sets then you create more relative friction points above for additional matches, which can help turn your set into a chain reaction which makes multiple sets.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple match 3 games.
