How to Play

Left click your mouse on each level. Some levels will require rapid clicking, others will require click and hold, others still will require a few well-timed clicks.

• Starting the Game
  • Click anywhere on the game welcome screen to start the game.
    • This will start a cut scene of a story from the diary. Then click on the green arrow button in the lower right corner to start the game.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • The left click button on your mouse does everything.
  • Mobile
    • Use your finger to tap on the screen like a mouse.
• Game Play
  • Each level has its own quirks. A few level designs are described below
    • running levels: Tap repeatedly & furiously to run. Stop short of running into octopus tentacles or falling off platforms. Be sure to keep running if you are standing on a platform which falls apart.
    • enemy levels: You run automatically but tap to release your spatula. The spatula throws out directly in front of you. Sometimes you have to wait to walk onto a different plane before you throw it.
    • vent levels: click to turn the vent on or off, controlling SpongeBob’s elevation.
    • jumping levels: click and hold to fill your shorts with air. Release to jump.
  • The bottom of each level contains instructions for how to play that level.
  • If you die you get unlimited continues, but your total click count keeps adding up.
    • The goal of the game is to beat the game in as few clicks as possible.
• Audience
  • The game is suitable for kids of all ages.
    • Early on in the game it makes light of how difficult some levels are by saying you only have to push one button but will probably mess it up.
  • There are no adult themes.
