How to Play

Move around the stages to collect all the gems from inside the treasure chests. Avoid running into any hazardous obstacles on your journey.

Starting the Game
- Press the gray and white play button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
  - Levels are unlocked sequentially.
  - Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.
  - Move right by pressing the D key or the right arrow key.
  - Jump by pressing the W key or the up arrow key.
  - Fall through the floor by pressing the S key or the down arrow key.
- Touchscreen devices
  - Use the on-screen controls
- Controls & indicators
  - When a level loads the current level number is shown top center briefly.
  - The upper right corner has buttons for restarting the current level and returning home.
  - The level select screen shows unlocked levels in white and locked levels in gray.
Game Play
- Basics
  - This is a platforming game where you play as a wizard who must open up all the treasure chests.
  - In addition to the typical horizontal moves & jumps that most platforming games have, you can also fall through the floor and fall from the top of the screen onto a platform above where you fell.
    - You can fall through white snow covered floors, though can not fall through gray floors.
    - When falling through the floor you can move left or right to realign where you land.
    - If you fall through the floor on a pink plot of land that changes the status of fires and tornadoes.
      - All fires go from on to off, or off to on.
      - All tornadoes go from off to on, or on to off.
      - The tornadoes are always in the opposite state of the fires.
    - If you fall through the floor on a purple plot of land you flip gravity.
      - Flipping gravity allows you to walk on the ceiling.
      - Fall through the ceiling to restore gravity to normal.
- Hazards
  - Spikes – running into them leads to instant death.
    - You not only must avoid running directly into them, but you also must avoid passing through them whenever you fall through the floor to a ceiling.
  - Fires – touching an active fire leads to instant death.
    - Some fires you can avoid by jumping over them or warping through the floor while moving to the side.
    - Some fires need to be deactivated by falling through a pink plot of land.
    - If you fall through pink land while fires are turned off you turn the fires back on.
  - Tornadoes – touching an active tornado leads to instant death.
    - Tornadoes are active when the icons representing them are spinning.
    - You can deactivate active tornadoes by falling through a pink plot of land.
  - Bats – touching bats leads to instant death.
    - Bats move on a fixed path at a regular speed.
- Levels
  - This game has 16 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
    - You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
  - Winning vs losing
    - You beat a level by opening all the treasure chests.
    - You lose a level if you run into any of the hazards.
    - This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
- Tips
  - Pink passages
    - On some stages you need to pass through the pink floor extra times so that you align the fires correctly for the next passage.
    - For example, on level 9 you need to fall through the area just right of center between two sets of spikes after each pass through to collect a treasure chest.
  - Jumping down to open treasure chests
    - On some stages you open treasure chests by jumping downward from the roof while standing upside down above them.
  - Purple passages
    - In some cases you have to collect treasures in a certain order to not get stuck.
    - If there are multiple purple passage sets you may need to warp through one and warp back through another to change your orientation.
