How to Play

Safely move across the platforms while collecting all 3 coins on each stage. Collect the umbrella and use switches and springs as needed to reach the pink exit portal on each level.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press PLAY GAME on the welcome screen to bring up the level select menu.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • Under the PLAY GAME button are buttons for sound control, music control, and game credits.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move left by pressing either the A key or the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing either the D key or the right arrow key.
    • Jump by pressing either the W key or the up arrow key.
      • While you have the umbrella equipped you can jump and glide by releasing the jump and pressing it again while holding in the second time.
      • You can also jump higher by jumping off a spring, or by pressing and holding the up arrow key while jumping onto an enemy.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on-screen controls.
      • The move left and move right buttons are in the lower left corner of the screen.
      • The jump button is in the lower right corner of the screen.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper right corner has a pause button. When the game is paused the overly menu shows the following options: continue, sound control, music control, and quit.
    • The level select screen shows locks on locked levels & no locks on levels which are already unlocked.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • Each stage features 3 coins you must collect before passing through to an unlocked portal exit.
      • As you advance through the game you are required to stomp some enemies to access some of the coins.
      • When all 3 coins have been collected the exit portal will display.
    • Enemies
      • Walkers – do not run into them or let them run into you, but you can stomp them.
        • When you stomp them you can jump high if you are holding in the up arrow. In some cases you need to use the high jump feature to jump over spikes or reach a hard to reach coin.
        • Some walkers also contain coins inside them.
        • Most walkers only stay on one platform. If a walker changes the platform it is walking on that means it is sourced from a generator pipe which keeps pumping out more walkers over time.
      • Spikes – avoid them, or instant death when they touch you.
      • Arrows – avoid them, or instant death when they touch you.
  • Features
    • Spring – allows you to jump higher.
    • Crank switches – allows you to change the state of bridge blocks.
    • Bridges – blocks which disappear or reappear based on the state of crank switches.
      • You can jump or fall through block outlines.
      • When the blocks are filled in & exist you can jump through them on the way up, but can not fall down through them.
    • Umbrella – allows you to slowly float downward by holding up as you move across.
    • Enemies – when you stomp on enemies you can jump high (similar to using the spring) by holding the up button.
    • Ladders – you can only climb them from the bottom of the ladder, but move up them quickly. You can fall down through them if you pass across them in the middle of the rungs.
  • Levels
    • This game has 32 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat stages at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by collecting all the coins on it and then safely exiting through the pink exit portal.
      • You lose if you run into a sharp obstacle, fall off platform, or run into the side of a walking enemy.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Some stages requiring cycling switches multiple times to reach different portions of the level.
    • Some levels (like 28) require you to jump high and play a portion of the level off screen before going back into view.
    • Many levels contain sections that are safe & sections that are more challenging. Try to quickly work through challenging areas and then rest in between them to help break up the levels.
    • In many cases it can make sense to stomp enemies even if you do not feel a need to do so, such that when you travel the path again you are not forced to time tight clearances with shooting arrows and walking enemies.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple platformer games.
    • This game was created by the same game developer as Low’s Adventures series & uses the same platforming and item concepts.
