How to Play

As a mermaid, swim for as long as you can without colliding with the other denizens of the deep. Collect as many coins as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select a player character on the avatar menu at the center right edge.
      • Use the arrows on the bottom left and right of the avatar menu to browse.
      • Use the check button at the bottom center of the avatar menu to select or unlock a player character.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • You can keep track of your coins and best score on the menu on the center left edge of the welcome screen.

    • With your mouse:
      • Left click anywhere onscreen to begin the level.
      • Left click up or down to move the mermaid.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • To start moving, left click or tap anywhere on the screen. After this, the mermaid will start moving by herself.
    • Move up or down to avoid any of the sea creatures that are swimming toward you.
    • Collect starfish coins whenever you can.
    • Gain a speed boost by collecting 5 sea horses.
      • This lasts for a few seconds.
      • While the speed boost is active, you move faster uninterrupted by other fish.
      • Move up and down to collect more coins.
    • The game ends when you crash onto any sea creature.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is determined by the distance you traveled. You earn points as you move forward.
    • The speed boost you gained from collecting sea horses lets you earn several points quickly.
  • Levels
    • There are eight levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
      • Upon playing for the first time, three of these levels are already unlocked.
      • To unlock a level, you must reach a specific high score, marked by a crown next to a number below each level.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Coins and characters
    • Use the coins you’ve collected to unlock two more playable characters from the welcome screen.
    • Once unlocked, you can switch from one character to the next.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like mermaids or simple evasion games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
