How to Play

Move the snake around and help it feed. Avoid other snakes, walls, bombs, and the snake’s own body.

• Starting the Game
  • The game is immediately playable once it loads.
    • The snake starts moving the moment the game loads, so you should immediately get to the controls once it does.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

    • With your mouse, left click on the controls to move the snake.

    • Tap on the controls with your fingers to move the snake.

      • Left (clockwise)
        • Background button: Changes the color of the game’s interface
        • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sounds on and off
        • Reset button: Clears your previous score and returns the game to the way it was a the beginning

    • Using the arrows on the bottom right, move the snake around the screen.
    • Guide the snake to the food to help it grow.
    • The game plays a lot like the older mobile versions of classic Snake.
      • The snake cannot hit the walls. If it does, it’s an instant game over.
      • The snake must not hit obstacles (in this case, other snakes) or its own body.
    • Avoid the bombs and other snakes.
      • Note that while your snake can’t pass through the walls, the other snakes can.
    • Keep playing for as long as you can.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 1 point for every piece of food you eat.
    • Your high score is updated in real time as you play. You can view it on the top right.
