How to Play
Fight through enemy infested territory and survive. Collect 3 gems to unlock the door and escape.
- Starting the Game
- At the center of the welcome screen are the following buttons:
- Select Play to begin the game in earnest.
- Select Story to learn the lore behind the game.
- Select Fullscreen to switch between windowed and full screen modes.

- Avoid level hazards.
- Defeat or evade any of the enemies you find.
- Collect all 3 gems to unlock the door.
- Find the location of the gems within the level
- One finished, move toward the door to exit.

- There are 6 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
- Your browser does not save your game progress; each time you reload the game, you begin at the first level.
- You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked in a session.

- Boxes come in 3 varieties: cardboard, wood, and metal.
- You can shoot wood and cardboard boxes to clear them away.
- You cannot shoot metal boxes.
- You can use boxes as a platform to reach objects.
- Sometimes, you will need to clear boxes away.

- Elevators
- Use elevators to go up a level.
- You will not be harmed if you stay under an elevator.
- Trampolines
- Trampolines will bounce you upward.
- Make sure to face in the right direction when jumping onto a trampoline. This way, you’ll be able to go in the right direction.
- Try not to step on the trampoline when you’re not yet ready to jump on it.

- Hazard markers
- Hazard markers show you where some hazards might appear.
- Acid pits
- Falling into an acid pit is instant death.
- Spike pits
- Like acid pits, spiked pits are deadly. Don’t fall on them.
- While you certainly can try to jump off a spiked pit, you probably won’t be able to escape it before dying.
- Timed hazards
- Timed hazards include flamethrowers, saws, and stampers. These take a large chunk out of your health when deployed.
- These deploy in specific intervals but are safe to cross in between them
- Flamethrowers release fire.
- Stampers fall down from the ceiling.
- Saws move up and down.
- In between their movements, you can safely cross them. However, you must move quickly.
- We recommend moving past shortly after they’ve been deployed.

- Enemies
- Enemies will harm you if they touch you.
- Some enemies can shoot back at you.
- Some enemies float out of reach, which make them hard to shoot.
- Try to take them down from a safe distance.
- You do not need to defeat enemies to clear the level. However, it is generally safer for you to take them out.
- Enemies will harm you if they touch you.
- Weapons
- The best way to deal with enemies is to shoot them.
- You can shoot standing up or crouching down.
- We recommend shooting while crouching down for most enemies.
- On occasion, you can defeat some enemies by shooting them while standing up.
- For thicker clusters of enemies, we recommend grenades.
- Toss a grenade in the direction where the enemies converge.
- After a few seconds, the grenade explodes.
- You only have 5 grenades per level. Use them wisely.
- The best way to deal with enemies is to shoot them.
- Health
- Your character health is measured by the health bar on the top left corner.
- Each time you get hit by an enemy or a moving hazard, you lose health.
- Lose all your health and it’s game over.
- You can replenish your health by collecting med packs. There is at least one somewhere within the level.

- Each coin you collect is worth $100.
