How to Play

Select all 6 differences in each scene before the timer reaches zero. Careful not to make more than 2 click errors or you will lose.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the Escape key if you do not wish to play in full screen mode.
  • Press the orange and white START button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including completed levels and level ratings.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for sound control and full screen mode.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click to select any spot in either image where there is a difference between that image and the other image.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select locations where the images are different.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left has a back button.
    • The upper right has sound control & full screen mode buttons.
    • The lower left shows how many lives you have remaining.
    • The bottom center shows your remaining time.
    • The lower right shows how many of the 6 differences you found.
    • The differences you have found in a level have green circles around them.
    • The level select screen shows your completed levels and your best level rating on each level.

  • Basics
    • This is a find the differences game where you have a minute to find 6 differences between 2 adjacent images.
      • You have 60 seconds to find all the differences.
    • Differences
      • If you replay a level the differences on that level will remain the same across subsequent plays of that stage.
      • Differences include:
        • missing items
        • a greater quantity of items
        • different colors
        • different item orientation
        • extra details or missing details
  • Levels
    • This game has 10 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a stage by finding all 6 differences before the timer reaches zero.
      • You lose a stage by not finding all of the differences before time runs out, or by running out of lives.
        • On each stage you are given 3 lives.
        • If you make 3 errant clicks it is game over.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of the level you lost.
  • Ratings
    • You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage.
      • Finishing a level in 30 seconds or less is worth 3 stars.
      • Finishing a level in 40 seconds or less is worth 2 stars.
      • Finishing a level before the timer runs out is worth 1 star.
    • Replaying stages
      • You only replace your old score on a stage with the new score if your new score is better.
      • There are a total of 30 stars you can earn across the 10 stages.
  • Tips
    • Your differences remain the same each time you play a particular level, so remember the ones you found already last play and select them immediately at the start of any replay.
    • If you found all 6 differences but were slow replay the level again immediately to earn a 3-star rating on it before going on to other stages.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like spot the differences games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
