How to Play

As a snake, consume as many fruits as you can within the time limit.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, use the left and right button to turn.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the left and right arrow button on their respective corners in the bottom row to turn.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators appear on the top row. From left to right:
      • Remaining lives
      • Timer
      • Score
      • Pause button
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • As a snake, eat as many fruits as you can.
      • You automatically move forward.
      • You can only change direction to the left or right.
    • You have only 40 seconds to play.
      • Each time you eat a fruit, you gain 2 extra seconds in the timer.
      • The game ends when the timer reaches 0.
    • Don’t hit your tail or any other part of your body.
  • Lives
    • You start the game with 3 lives.
    • Each time you hit your own body, you lose a life.
    • Lose all your lives, and it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • Each fruit you eat is worth 1 point.
    • Your total score is the number of points you’ve accumulated within the time limit.
    • The game over screen shows you both your current and best score.
    • Your high score appears on the bottom center of the welcome screen.
