This is a simple mobile platform jumping game where players control a ninja’s jump length by screaming (or speaking) into a microphone. This game could be thought of a voice controlled version of Flappy Bird where you can land on platforms but must avoid hitting any spikes. Or it could be thought of as the perfect passive aggressive game for waking up a sleeping worker in the next cubicle. 😀

• Speak in your microphone to get your player to jump.
• If you speak louder or longer the ninja will jump higher and longer.
• This game has double-jump type features where your character will slide down the screen when the player stops speaking but the player can use their voice again in the middle of a jump to get the player to resume their jump.

How to Play

Speak into your headset, phone, or other microphone to cause the ninja to jump from platform to platform.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap the screen to start the game. This will automatically open the game and request your web browser enable microphone permissions.
  • Click on the start button in the game to begin.
  • Your current score and high score are stored in your local web browser game progress is stored in your local web browser and is shown at the end of the game.
• Game Controls
  • Use your microphone to control your jump.
    • The longer you speak / scream / yell the further out your ninja jumps and the higher it jumps.
• Strategy
  • Death
    • You die if you hit any spikes or fall off the bottom of the screen.
    • You can run into the side of a platform and keep screaming to climb along its side until you get over it.
    • Games are not timed, so if you get to a stable spot on a platform you can take a break.
    • You can skip some platforms and only land periodically on other platforms.
  • Your character rises as the jump continues and there are spikes on the top of the roof.
    • It makes sense to take periodic pauses in between longer jumps to allow your character’s altitude to fall slightly.
  • The volume of your voice does not matter as much as how long you can make noise for.
    • Putting the microphone right near your mouth allows you to get more out of your voice and breath.
