Basic rules
Aim for the cup.
A trail of dots will show you the likely direction the ball will go.
Use the dot trail as a guide to aim. Note that it is not long enough to reach into the cup itself after Level 1.
Once you’re done, release the ball.
If the ball lands on the cup, you win the level.
If the ball doesn’t, you can try again.
Pay attention to the dot trail, which will show you where the ball went when you failed.
Make adjustments based on the trail so you don’t make a similar mistake on your second or third tries.
Work quickly, as the dot trail will fade over time.
On the end screen are the following options:
Select the grid button to return to the level selection screen.
Select the reset button to try the level again.
Select the play button to proceed to the next level. This is only available if you succeed.
Difficulty spikes
Barriers
Barriers appear throughout the game as platforms for the cup.
In some levels, the platforms will serve a dual role.
On one hand, they stand in the way of your shot. You must find a way around them.
However, you can sometimes bounce the ball off them to get it to the cup.
In later levels, barriers start to move around.
Time your shots so that the ball has the best chance at getting past them.
Defying physics
Some of the early levels show cups that are situated in spots that, in the real world, will defy physics.
For instance, in level 4, the cup is on its side, and in Level 7, the cup is upside down.
Anticipate gravity when it comes to bouncing the ball into the cup, but forget about it when it comes to getting it in.
When it gets in, it will stay there. It’s a game. 🙂
In some levels, the cups move.
Take account the ball’s travel time and the cup’s movement pattern before releasing.
You must release it so that the cup approaches the ball just as it’s ready to fall in.
Some cups have fountains of fizz.
If a fizz cup appears in a level, there will be a similar cup that serves as your target.
Fizz cups serve as a barrier as balls can get caught by or pushed by these fountains.
Sometimes they act as odd platforms that hold the balls you need to push.
Alternate tosses
Cup tosses
Sometimes you must toss the cup to the ball instead of the other way around.
Cups follow different rules from balls.
The cup flips around when you toss it.
The ball must still end up in the open part of the cup.
In some levels (like Level 20), you must use one cup as a means to push the ball into another cup.
Barrier tosses
This is similar to the cup tosses where another cup is present. You must push the ball with the barrier and allow it to roll into the cup.
This is available from Level 22.
Take account the shape of the barrier to determine how you can use it to push the ball.
Extra balls
Orange table tennis balls by themselves cannot win the level. Use them like cue balls to push white balls into the cup.
Balls of unusual size work in a similar way.
Giant white balls can either be used to push balls smaller white balls or be tossed into a giant red cup themselves.
Smaller white balls can be quite deceptive depending on their placement. Once you find them, toss them into the cup like any other ball.
Tiny orange balls can be used to push white balls in the same way as their larger counterparts.
Lives
You begin each level with 3 lives, represented by balls on the top left corner of the screen.
Each time you miss, you lose a life.
Lose all your lives and you fail the level.
Levels
There are 60 levels in the game, which are unlocked sequentially.
You can replay any of the levels that you’ve previously beaten.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like simple physics puzzle games.
The game has no adult themed content.
