This is a free typing game which has students practice typing one word at a time, with the student spelling out the word which appears above a virtual keyboard or typewriter.

• Type the letters shown in the highlighted box to spell the word.
• There is a little bar under the word which shows how much time you have left.
• The game measures both your typing speed and accuracy, using them to generate a final score.

Speed Type Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Type the letters in the words in the correct order from left to right.

• Game Controls
  • Choose the language you want to play in by clicking on the associated flag.
    • USA => English
    • Spain => Spanish
    • Brazil => Portuguese
    • Italy => Italian
    • France => French
  • Click the start arrow.
  • Type the bottom word and repeat the process until you run out of time.
    • As you type the correct letters they disappear from the screen.
    • If you make a spelling error you can then type the correct key after typing an incorrect one.
    • When you finish a word the next word above drops into position.
    • Your typing accuracy rate is shown directly below the word.
  • Type the letters in each word using your keyboard, spelling the word from left to right.
  • Your game’s high score is stored in your local web browser.
  • A button on the lower right corner of the screen allows you to reset the high score data.
  • When you finish a game it shows you how many correct letters you got and your accuracy rate. Buttons on the top left and right allow you to then go to the home screen of the game or replay again.
