Creating a mask
Start with the trim color.
Pick the main color of the mask.
If you don’t like a solid color to your mask, pick one of 2 alternate options.
Choose between 6 patterns.
Select a face out of 6 options.
Add patches, if you want.
We recommend putting patches on masks with solid colors. It makes the patches easier to see.
To add a patch, left click or tap any of the patches, then drag it to the mask.
The game will automatically crop the patches if you put them in the sides.
Change the size of your patches by selecting the square resize button on the top left of the patch.
Use the rotate button to change the angle of the patch.
Place letters on your mask
Place these like the patches.
Select a letter, then pick a color.
Draw on the mask.
This option allows you to create your own designs from scratch.
Use your mouse or fingers to draw.
Select a color from the palette, and choose between 3 different brush sizes.
We recommend that you draw on the mask first before adding patches or letters.
Select the I’mDone button when you’re happy with your design.
The game will give you two options:
Print: Opens a dialog box that lets you print a physical copy of your mask.
Save: Downloads a picture of your mask into your computer.

How do face masks prevent disease? Some viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19, travel through tiny droplets that people breathe out. They can travel ever farther if the persons coughs. A face mask keeps you from spreading viruses to others. It also helps keep the viruses from reaching you! This video shows it in action.
