How to Play

Prepare and decorate a cookie. Once you’re done, save it or print it out.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the green and white play button to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen, select the start button below the title to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, right click to select and navigate.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with your fingers and use it as a mouse.
• Game Play
  • The game is divided into 3 stages.
    • Baking the cookie
    • Editing the cookie
    • Consuming the cookie
  • Baking
    • The baking minigame lets you choose the shape of your cookie.
    • Start by flattening the cookie dough.
      • Left click and drag back and forth.
      • Tap and swipe.
    • Select a cookie cutter.
      • You can only cut one cookie from the dough.
      • Selecting a different cookie cutter will change the entire cookie.
      • Each cookie has a different set of decorations.
      • Select next on the bottom left to proceed with the decorating part of the game.
  • Decorating
    • The transition between the two games shows the cookie appearing already baked.
    • The editing options for the cookie are located on the bottom row.
    • This is the main part of the game. Choose among 4 major categories to edit your cake.
      • Cookie icing
      • Linear decorations (icing lines, faces, etc.)
      • Abstract decorations (sprinkles, etc.)
      • Toppings
    • To lay down the icing, do the following:
      • Left click and drag with your mouse.
      • Tap and swipe with your fingers.
    • Select the decorations and lay them to the desired location on the cookie.
    • Select them again to activate the rotate arrows.
    • On the right side are 4 buttons:
      • Save: Lets you save or print out your finished cookie
      • Start over: Removes all the decorations in your cookie
      • Finished: Feeds your cookie to the monster
      • Undo: Removes your last action
  • Completing the cookie
    • Select save to download or print your work.
      • Choosing this button darkens the screen and opens two options.
      • Pick between the save or print options at the bottom center of the screen.
        • Save downloads a .png image of your finished cookie.
        • Print lets you print out a paper copy of your work.
      • If you change your mind, select the x button on the lower left corner.
    • We recommend that you choose Save before selecting Finished
    • Select Finished to play the cookie minigame.
      • Drag the cookie from the tray and into the plate.
      • Be careful not to drop it. If you do, the monster eats it.
      • When it’s on the plate, you’re done. You can still take the cookie out of the cake if you want to feed the monster.
      • Once you’re done, select Next on the lower right corner to start all over again.
• Target Audience
  • Young children who like baking or eating cookies should enjoy this game.
  • There are no adult themes in this game.
