Mahjong Master 2 Tile Matching Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Select pairs of matching open tiles to remove them from the playing field. Repeat until the board is clear. Beat the level quickly to earn a gold star rating.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the TAP TO CONTINUE button. On the game load screen.
    • This brings up the language select screen where you click on a frag which is commonly associated with one of 9 languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Russian).
    • This then loads the game welcome screen with buttons to play, read game instructions, or control game options.
      • Play – allows you to select easy, medium, or hard play mode.
        • Play sequentially through 50 levels on each difficulty mode.
        • Your web browser automatically saves your level progress and ratings.
      • Instructions: Find matching pairs of tiles to remove them from the field. Only ‘free’ tiles can be matched. A tile is ‘free’ if it’s not covered from above and at least from one of its sides (left or right).
      • Options: change game language and turn game music on or off.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select an open tile, then select its open matching tile.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with your finger to select tiles.
  • Controls & Indicators
    • Across the top of the screen there is a timing indicator which shows how much time you have left for each star rating.
    • The bottom left corner of the game has a pause button.
    • At the bottom center of the screen there is a move undo button which can be used up to 5 times on each level.
    • The level select screen shows what star rating you achieved on each level.

  • Levels
    • Each difficulty level has 50 games which must be beat sequentially to unlock the next level.
    • Each difficulty mode is distinct and isolated. When you beat a level on easy you unlock the next level on easy.
  • Tile matching
    • Only open tiles may by matched.
      • A tile is open if either the left or right side of it is clear of tiles and there is no tile atop it.
      • If you try to select a tile which is not open you won’t be able to select it.
      • If you select an open tile its border will be highlighted.
    • If you do not match tiles for an extended period of time the game will automatically highlight a match for you.
    • Most tiles must match their identical pair, though flowers can match any other flowers.

  • The game is suited for mahjong solitaire players of all ages.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
