Levels and game modes
The game has 2 modes.
In the timed version of the game, you have a limited amount of time (4:20 on first level) to clear the stack.
If you run out of time, you can try again or end the game from there.
Later levels have higher time limits and a more complex board layouts.
In the untimed version, there is no time limit. Play at your own pace.
Both game modes are divided into levels.
At the start, only the first level of each is playable.
Finish one level to unlock the next. Keep doing so until you clear all 40 levels.
When reloading the game, you have 2 options:
You can start either game mode from the very beginning. This resets your progress.
You can resume the game from the last level you unlocked.
The game ends when you reach the last level or hit a game over.
Basic rules
Match pairs of identical cubes to remove them from the stack.
Select one cube then another to make a pair. The 2 cubes must be identical to be removed.
To win a level, you must clear all the cubes from the stack.
In timed mode, you must clear the entire stack within the time limit.
Only free cubes can be removed.
Free cubes have at least 2 consecutive free sides (left or right) with no adjacent stones on those 2 sides.
Only free cubes can be selected.
When you select a free cell it is highlighted in a yellow color and a picture of the cube is shown in the upper left corner of the game.
Tips
Remove stones from the corners of the widest rows first to open up the board.
Some stones are hard to see due to the board angle or a wider row partially obstructing the view. You can select stones even if you do not have a clear view of the entire stone.
When you select an open stone a picture of it is shown in the upper left corner of the screen.
Rotate the board regularly to keep working on it from different sides.
You can select a stone and rotate it out of view before selecting an identical matching stone to pair it up with.
Scoring
Earn 100 points for every pair of cubes you clear.
You get a bonus of 30 points for every second remaining on the timer when finishing a level.
You receive no time-based bonus in the untimed version of the game.
Your total score is cumulative through all the levels of your playthrough.
You can save your score on the leaderboard after finishing all the levels or ending the level in a game over.
Hints and shuffles
Hints and shuffles can help you out if you’re ever stuck.
Selecting the hint button will highlight any valid pair of cubes on the stack.
Selecting the shuffle button will change the arrangement of all the cubes in the stack.
Hints and shuffles cost points. Use them sparingly.
Hints cost 150 points.
Shuffles cost 500 points.
We recommend hints over shuffles.
The game will automatically shuffle the cubes if you run out of moves. This earns you no point penalty whatsoever.
Hints cost less than shuffles, as long as you don’t use them often.
Target Audience
