Basic rules
Remove cards from the tableau whose value is one higher or lower than the face card on the bottom right corner.
You can only select face up cards.
To select a card, left click or tap on it.
The card you chose will be the new face card.
Aces can be paired with kings or twos.
Receive a new face card from the stock if none of the cards match.
Select New card to deal a new card.
If it still doesn’t match, keep selecting new face cards until you find one that does.
You only have 25 cards in the stock.
Jokers can be paired with any card.
Jokers can appear at random from the stock.
There is no other way to receive jokers in this game.
Use the undo button to take back your last action.
This can be useful if you’ve made a rather recent mistake.
You only get 3 undos per level. Use them sparingly.
Clear the entire stack from the tableau before the timer runs out.
You fail the level if you run out of time or valid moves.
If you fail a level it is game over.
Levels
Levels are unlocked sequentially.
The first level is immediately playable at the start of the game.
Finish one level to unlock the next.
You can load the next level immediately after finishing the current one.
There are 15 levels in this game.
Each level has a unique board layout, though all levels have a 2-minute timer.
Each time you reload the game, it gives you two options:
Select Continue previous game to load the last level you’ve unlocked.
Select Start new game to clear your progress and start a new playthrough.
Strategy
Look at the board layout to see which cards have the most cards underneath them & try to focus on removing them whenever possible to help open up the board.
Opening up the board early will give you many potential runs to make & will make it more likely any card dealt from the stock will be numerically adjacent to one of the cards on the tableau.
If Jokers are found on the tableau be sure to finish any run of cards you are already on before playing the Joker.
When all remaining cards on the tableau are face up you can try to match whichever paths are shorter, or whichever cards have the most duplicates first.
If you turn up a 3 and have A-2 on the tableau along with a 4 it is better to take out the 4, as you can take out the A-2 by turning up a King, Ace, 2, or 3 whereas the 4 only has the matches of 3 and 5.
Scoring
Your score is cumulative. The score you earned from previous levels is added onto the next one.
You get 100 points for every card you remove from the tableau.
You also get bonus points at the end of the level:
You receive 450 points for every card remaining in the stock.
You also receive 50 points for every second remaining on the timer.
You can save your score to the leaderboard after meeting the following conditions:
You finish all 15 levels.
You fail a level.
