    • Objective
      • Rearrange and move the cards in the tableau until you can move them all in the proper ascending order (from ace to king) in the foundation piles.
      • Cards in the home cells must be arranged according to their suits (spades, clubs, hearts, and diamonds).
      • Meet the above goals in under 10 minutes.
    • Opening moves
      • You start with the following:
        • 4 suites of cards distributed along 8 tableau piles, with half the stacks having 6 cards and the other half having 7 cards.
        • All cards on the tableau are dealt face up.
        • 4 empty foundations.
        • Between 1 to 4 empty free cells (the first level has 4 and each subsequent stage gets harder with 1 fewer free cell).
    • Basic rules
      • Within the tableau, in normal games of Freecell Solitaire you can only stack and move the cards in alternating color patterns in descending order (from king to 2).
        • This game allows you to stack without requiring alternating suit colors.
      • Use free cells to store cards temporarily until you can move them in the tableau or the foundations.
      • Aces are automatically placed on the foundations.
    • Moves and free cells
      • In most circumstances, you can only move one exposed card at a time.
      • You can only move this card to either one of three locations:
        • The free cells
        • An empty cell on the tableau
        • A card (of any color) that is valued one higher than it anywhere on the tableau
        • A card of the same suit that is one lower than its value on a foundation
        • Through an undo, back to where it previously was
      • You can move a limited number of stacked cards.
        • The number of cards you can move depends on the free cells you have plus one.
        • The maximum number of cards you can move is 5, unless there is also a free column, then the free columns times the free cells are added to the number of free cells.
          • If you have 3 free cells you could move (3 +1) 4 cards at a time.
          • If you have 3 free cells and two open columns you can move (3 * 3 + 1) 10 cards at a time.
      • In each level, you have 3 undos that will help you take back a card you can’t otherwise return.
    • Strategy
      • Try to expose as many of the Aces early in the game as you can.
      • Try to avoid building long stacks on the tableau with important cards buried under them.
      • Break long stacks into smaller substacks if you need to do so in order to move cards across.
      • While you can move any card to an empty column on the tableau, it is best to try to place Kings there whenever possible & to build other longer stacks on the empty columns instead of having cards buried under them.
      • Try to keep the free cells empty or close to empty most of the time.
      • As you advance through the game you need to try to be more cautious with your play strategy as you have fewer free cells to work with.
    • Play vs autoplay
      • The game autoplays Aces to the foundations. It also autoplays other cards to the foundation if there is a certainty you will not need to use that card to create a color alternating stack on the tableau.
      • You can also manually lay cards to the foundations to open up other plays, even if the cards could have been used in a run on the tableau.
      • When cards are laid to the foundations they can not be returned to the tableau or free cells.
    • Levels
      • The game is divided into 4 levels. You get 10 minutes to beat ach level.
      • Each level removes a free cell from the game. On the final level, you have only one free cell to work with.
      • This means that with each level, the number of cards you can move around is limited.
      • Because of this, we recommend that you keep the free cells empty as long as you can, especially in later levels.
    • Scoring
      • Each card you place on the foundation pile earns you 10 points, for a maximum base score of 520 points.
      • You also get a bonus of 50 points for every second remaining on the timer.
      • Most of your score comes from remaining time.
        • Beating a 10 minute level with only 11 seconds remaining would mean you had 550 points from time.
        • If you beat a level in 4 minutes you would score an 18,000 point time bonus.
      • It is easier to earn a higher score on earlier levels since you have more free cells to work with and can be a bit more aggressive in your play style.
        • Beating the final level with only 1 free cell requires exceptional precision.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for players who like Freecell Solitaire card games.
      • This game does not require you to alternate suit colors on the tableau & offers one less free cell per level. If you would like to play with a specific number of free cells & play where you need to alternate suit colors we offer Freecell, Three Cell, Two Cell, & One Cell.
    • The game has no adult themed content.
