This is not your average Tetris clone. While the principle seems similar, that's where the resemblance ends. The blocks aren't shaped like tetrominoes. They come in 1, 2, 3, and 4-unit increments. Many of these blocks are also shaped weirdly, which can complicate construction.

Your goal is to survive waves of attacks from Sheldon Plankton's army of minions. To do that, you must arrange blocks to form a barrier before each wave of minions arrives. You don't need to make a full wall to keep the minions from crossing. The structure you make just needs to survive in some form through the wave. Holes are not an issue. Structural integrity, however, is.

The blocks come in three different materials of varying strengths. Sand is the weakest, while stone is the strongest. You must build a structure that will survive the incoming waves of minions. Arranging a 2 x 2 square of blocks of the same material also buys you a little more time before the wave starts. Naturally, stone provides the biggest delaying bonus when stacked that way.

It's an interesting take on the wall building concept and quite fun. It takes a while to get used to, but it's worth getting the hang of. The surf rock background music adds to the experience.
