To spell a word, have your ship shoot down an asteroid with the right letter. You must also avoid hitting the other asteroids or shooting down the wrong letters. Use the X or L buttons to fire, and the arrow buttons to navigate.

Your lives are represented by extra ships on the top left corner of the screen. Each time you hit an asteroid or shoot the wrong letter, you lose a life. The game is over when you run out of lives. The complexity of instructions are unusual for an educational game or a shooter. You must time your attacks to avoid wrong selections, all to spell a word right. Pretty tough for a kid’s game.
