Not all endless runners are created equal. Picture Runner sometimes feel like a version of the Chrome dinosaur runner. Its gameplay mechanics, however, take the difficulty to a whole new level.

You control a stick figure running across a pencil-drawing cartoon landscape. In this surreal world, your figure can switch back and forth from one side of the paper drawing into another. To move and score, run across the landscape without hitting the boxes. To avoid the boxes, click on the screen.

The switching mechanism is where things get crazy. This dodging mechanism means that your eyes must switch from top to bottom. It can leave you cross eyed and will be a recurring problem in the later levels. This game will upend the way you see endless runners in a very literal way.
