How to Play
Cross the perilous manor of Countess Lexograpy. Complete her challenge to win the Orb of Prepositions.
Starting the Game
Select the green and white play button to load the welcome screen.
On the welcome screen, pick between 2 options:
New Game: This starts the game from the beginning. Choose this if you are playing the game for the first time or if you want to start over from the beginning.
Continue: This lets you return to where you last left off.
Each time start a new game, you can choose a new character from the character selection screen.
The game will play a cutscene slideshow describing its premise. To skip the slides, select the Next button at the bottom right corner.
Your web browser will automatically save your game progress.
Press the arrow keys on your keyboard
Left click anywhere on the map with your mouse.
To select an answer, left click on it with your mouse.
Tap the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
Pick a player avatar from 9 different characters
You can select a character each time you start a new game.
Fay the Fairy will provide help text through a pop-up on the screen. While these pop ups only appear at the beginning of the game, you can open them again by selecting her button.
Access the games controls on the menu on the center right.
Fay button: Select this to read Fay’s help text again.
Sound button: Select this to turn the game’s audio on and off.
Coin counter: Keep track of your coins you pick up. You can collect 40 coins overall.

Enter the manor
Answer the 5 of the ghost’s questions correctly in a row to enter.
The ghost will ask which of 2 words is a preposition. Select the correct answer.
If you get even 1 question incorrect, you must start all over again.
Flip the switches in the proper order to activate the door.
Each switch is represented by a word. If you think the word is a preposition, choose Yes. This will flip the switch up. If you choose no, the switch will be flipped down.
Make sure all of the switches are flipped correctly to proceed with the level. Any wrong answer means you must start over.
Create a path
Cross the missing floor by creating a path. Identify the preposition among each pair of words.
Each correct answer you make creates a new path. Keep answering correctly until you reach the other side.
Make a wrong answer and you won’t go anywhere.
Choose the answers by stepping on the right stone. Each of the 3 stones has a preposition on them.
Pick the preposition that best completes the sentence shown.
A wrong will send you falling down. This also means you’ve got to start over from the beginning.
Hint: Use context clues to determine the most appropriate preposition for the sentence.
Confront the Countess
Pick out the prepositions in the sentence.
Select Check to confirm your answers. You can only move forward if all your choices are correct.
Answer all 5 questions to earn the orb.
