How to Play

Reach the other end of the level. Collect all the coins and starballs you can find while attacking enemies.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin the game.
  • Select Full Screen to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Use the WASD or arrow keys to move.
        • Select the W or up arrow key twice to double jump.
      • Glide using the following controls simultaneously:
        • Up and down arrow keys
        • W and S keys
      • Use the K or Z keys to attack with a sword.
      • Use the L or X keys to attack with kunai.
      • Use the S or down arrow keys to slide.
      • Use the W or up arrow keys near a ladder to climb.
    • With your mouse:
      • Although the game’s touchscreen controls can be activated using the mouse, it is more practical to use the keyboard controls.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers.
      • Use the directional pad on the lower left corner to move.
        • Tap the up button once to jump and climb. Tap it twice to double jump.
        • Tap the up and down buttons simultaneously to glide.
        • Tap the down button once to slide.
      • Use the A button on the lower right to attack with a sword.
      • Use the kunai button to attack with kunai.
  • Controls & indicators
    • On the top row are the following:
      • Your life meter, which shows you your remaining hit points
      • Your starball counter, which shows you the number of starballs you’ve picked up.
      • Your coin counter, which shows you the coins you’ve collected
  • Information screen
    • Access the information screen from the button on the lower right corner of the level selection screen.
    • The information screen lists down the game’s controls and lets you practice them within the game’s environment.
• Game Play
  • Getting started
    • Choose between either of these 2 player characters:
      • Shinobi
      • Kunoichi
    • Level selection
      • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • After finishing one level, you automatically unlock the next one.
      • You can replay all the levels you’ve unlocked.
      • Select the level you would like to play.
    • Navigation
      • Jump onto platforms.
        • You need to double jump to reach some platforms.
        • Other platforms need you to glide after double jumping.
      • Collect starballs (gems) and coins.
        • Pick up all of the collectible items in a level to earn a 3-star rating.
      • Use moving platforms to go across pools of acid.
      • Reach the other side of the level.
    • Enemies and Hazards
      • Enemies
        • Enemies spawn later in the level and walk toward you.
          • They will cause you to lose health when they make contact.
          • If you lose enough health, you die and must start the level all over again.
        • You can dodge or attack them.
          • You can attack them through the ranged kunai or the melee sword.
          • The sword is stronger but the kunai works from a distance.
          • Some enemies will try to dodge you by jumping.
          • A few enemies will patrol a specific location. You can snipe them with ease using kunai without them getting near.
      • Hazards
        • Hazards include pools of acid, which take the place of pits in other platformers.
        • Fall into the acid and you automatically lose.
        • To avoid falling in, jump into platforms and bridges.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for young children who like ninja platformer games.
