Game Play
Basic objectives
The rules of this game are fairly similar to the original game. Rotate and place the incoming blocks on the bottom of the screen and work your way up.
From what we’ve observed, this game is very generous with line pieces. Take advantage of this whenever you can, especially in the early game.
Clear the blocks by forming lines without gaps.
These lines can appear in groups of 1s, 2s, 3s, or 4s.
The longer these lines, the higher the points you earn.
Lines of blocks don’t need to be continuous to be cleared. You can clear up to 3 lines that are not adjacent to one another.
Clear 10 lines to move up a level.
As the game progresses, the blocks descend faster.
The game ends when you stack the blocks to the top of the screen.
Game features
Unlike in other similar Tetris-inspired games, this game lets you swap pieces.
Swapping lets you save pieces as well as switch them out with a new one.
The swap piece is shown in the lower right of the game.
If you get a 4×1 piece you can not immediately use it can make sense to place that in your swap piece to use it as needed to complete a Tetris or complete multiple consecutive Tetris moves.
Use the Ctrl key to swap a piece as desired.
Work fast, as you have a limited amount of time to swap and lay down the pieces.
The swapped pieces will always take the place of the previous piece exactly where it is as it falls down.
This could work to your disadvantage if your previous piece was too low or if your stack is already high.
You can anticipate your next blocks by looking at the menu on the right side of the screen.
It will show the 4 blocks you will receive in your subsequent moves, with the top block being your next move.
Scoring and ranking
You earn points for each line you clear.
If you make multiple sets of rows at once you score more points & you can also activate a score bonus multiplier by making multiple line-clearing moves consecutively.
The game saves your score in the top 10 list each time you finish the game. You will only appear in that list if your score meets or surpasses those scores already in the list.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like Tetris-inspired games.
The game has no adult themed content.
