Hit the ball by pulling backwards. The game doesn’t mention the par for the course. Instead, it gives you a star rating based on how many strokes you use. The fewer strokes you use, the better.

Some of the holes are quite difficult to surmount. You must estimate the strength and angle of each stroke with care. An underpowered stroke will not go far. Overshoot and you risk losing your ball altogether. Be prepared to reset your game when dealing with difficult levels if you want a high star rating.
