This puzzle game challenges you to merge numbers together. You start out with one or two tiles in increments of one, two, and three. To merge groups of numbers, align three or more of them together. They become the next number in the sequence. For instance, if you align three groups of two, you get one three. This continues until you make five. Align at least three fives, and you clear all tiles within an eight-tile distance. The game isn’t over until you run out of room for more tiles.
Forward planning is the key to advancing in this game. You must plan each move that your number tiles merge where you want them to be. When tiles merge, they fall into the last location you put them in. You might end up with awkward gaps that keep you from merging the other numbers.
If you enjoyed 2048, then you might like this game. It’s easy to get into but hard to master. You can sink hours trying to beat your previous high score. It’s also an excellent way to keep your mind active on a slow afternoon.
Make 5 is fun and engaging number puzzle that’s hard to quit. In regular puzzles, like-colored pieces placed in threes or more are instantly eliminated. But with this game, the blocks come with a corresponding number. Instead of being removed, they collapse into one block with a higher number. For example, if I put together three twos, it will collapse into one block with the number three. The goal is to eliminate as many blocks as possible to collect a higher score. When you put together three fives, it will destroy all the blocks. You lose when there are no more spaces to put a block.
The blocks you get come in random. It may be one block or a pair. When it comes in a pair, you can click it to reorient their position horizontally or vertically. Then you can place the blocks on the board. Try to keep blocks close to the next number block. For example, try to keep twos and threes close. When the twos collapse to a three, it would be easier to connect it with a number three block nearby.
