Mahjong Quest Tile Matching Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions
How to Play
Select matching open tiles to remove them from the playing field. Repeat the process until the level is cleared.
Starting the Game
Select the blue and yellow button at the center of the welcome screen to start the game.
This will bring up the level select screen.
Levels must be beaten sequentially to unlock the next level.
Levels are in sets of 9 & as you achieve each 9 metals you unlock another set of nine – which also must be completed sequentially.
Your web browser automatically saves your level progress and ratings.
The welcome screen has buttons for sound control & full screen mode in the upper left and an instructions button in the lower left.
Instructions: Match pairs of identical tiles to remove them from the board until it’s entirely cleared or until you find all special tiles. You can only match tiles which are free on at least one side. Match as fast as you can to earn awards and medals to unlock more levels. Season tiles match even if the picture is different. The same works with flower tiles. Rock tiles don’t do anything. Some tiles are reversed, they turn around as you select them. To free trapped tiles you have to match scissors.

Levels
The game has 63 levels which must be beat sequentially.
Each level has a goal stated upfront like “Clear the board in 3:45 for bronze.”
As you remove tiles from the board the view zooms in to make the remaining tiles larger.
Some mahjong solitaire games automatically reshuffle the board when no more valid moves remain. This game does not. Instead you have to either restart the level or use the move undo or board shuffle feature to enable moves.
Tiles
If a tile is open and you click on it the tile will highlight.
If you select a tile which is not open it will shake but will not highlight.
Most tiles must be paired off with identical pairs, though there are a few special tile types.
Season tiles match even if the picture is different.
The same works with flower tiles.
Rock tiles don’t do anything.
Some tiles are reversed, they turn around as you select them.
To free trapped tiles you have to match scissors.
