  - Finish pairing off the tiles in 9 minutes to clear the first level.
    - Each subsequent level has a 5 second shorter time limit, meaning you must beat the fifteenth level in 7:50.
- Scoring
  - You receive 95 points for every match you make.
  - You also receive a bonus at the end of the level, depending on how fast you clear all the tiles. Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.
  - Using the hint button costs 100 points.
  - Using the shuffle tiles button costs 500 points. When no open tile matches remain the board is automatically shuffled without costing you points.
  - Your score is cumulative across levels.
- Hints and reshuffles
  - Hints and reshuffles can help you out of a tight or unwinnable spot, but at the cost of your points.
    - Hints will show you an available pair to match.
    - Reshuffles will change the arrangement of the tiles in the pile.
    - Because they reduce your score each time they’re used, use them sparingly.
      - When no open tile matches remain the board is automatically shuffled without costing you points.

    - You start the first level with 60 seconds on the timer.
    - In later levels, you get more time.

    - A free stone is one that does not have any stones on top of it and at least one side (left or right) is free of adjacent stones.
    - In this game open stones have a lighter background color, whereas stones that are not free have a darker grayed out background color.
  - Autoshuffle
    - When no valid open pairs remain the game automatically shuffles the remaining stones.
    - This means at least one match is available at all times.
    - Automated shuffles do not cost you points.
- Levels
  - This game has 105 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    - You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.
    - Your new score will only replace the old score if you score more points.
  - Stones
    - The first stage contains 16 stones, or 8 stone pairs.

How to Play

Click on two matching tiles which can be connected by a line which travels vertically or horizontally and turns no more than twice on its journey. The line also can not pass through any other tiles. Repeat this process until the board is clear of tiles.

Starting the Game

- General
  - This game is a mahjong match game. Mahjong match games allow you to connect and remove tiles which:
    - directly touch
    - touch via a single direct line
    - touch via a line which has 1 or 2 right angle turns in it
    - the pictures near the bottom of this article show a couple legal moves highlighted in white line segments with rounded circles at the ends.
  - Within this genre of games, some have boards that remain static, and other games have boards which slide in a particular direction as tiles are removed. This game has levels using both configuration options.
  - When scanning pieces to move, if you do not spot any easy pairs right off the start then look at pieces along the edges and around the corners.
    - Pieces which are on an outer edge can match any other piece on that same outer edge.
    - Pieces on corners have 2 different outer edges they can match against.
  - If a board has multiple rows with spaces between them try to take out the inner area first so that you create a broader cross section for matching in the outer rows.
- Free Play
  - Choose a difficulty level which suits your skill level. If you are not familiar with mahjong styled games choose easy or normal. If you are familiar with mahjong styled games choose hard.
  - Match pairs of tiles which you are able to connect with a line that turns no more than twice.
  - Pay attention to the level introduction advice. Some boards will remain static as you remove tiles, while other boards will slide left, right, up or down as you remove tiles.
  - When no tile movements are left the board will automatically reshuffle.
  - If you are stuck you can use up to three manually initiated reshuffles and three clues per level using the button in the upper right corner.
  - The game has a pause button in the upper left corner, but since the levels are not timed it doesn’t matter much.
- Puzzle Mode
  - Pay attention to the tips at the begging of the level to see which way tiles move, or if they stay still.
    - If tiles fall in one direction it often makes sense to use the pairs on the opposite side of the screen first & to make whatever pairs are possible upstream of tile movements.
  - Levels are timed. For the first 15 to 20 levels this should not matter too much, but for the last 10 or so it begins to matter much more.
  - There are clue and reshuffle buttons in the upper right corner. You can buy additional uses of each for 500 experience points. You gain experience by making matches and how much time you have left when you beat a level.
  - If there are no remaining matches in the current board configuration the game will automatically reshuffle the board’s layout. This will not cost you one of your shuffles.
  - If you lose on a puzzle you can replay the level and unlimited number of times.
  - If you like a previously beaten level you can go back and replay it as often as you like.

  - Each time you clear a pair of cubes in rapid succession, you gain a multiplier bonus.
    - Each bonus is 1 point higher than the last one. The first bonus is x1, then x2, and so on.
    - The more cubes you clear in rapid succession, the higher your bonus will be.
    - The multiplier bonus only lasts for a few seconds. If you wait too long to clear another pair, you reset the multiplier counter.
  - You also receive 10 bonus points for every second remaining on the timer when the level is beat.
  - You can save your score on the leaderboard after finishing all the levels or after ending a level in a game over.
- Hints and shuffles
  - Hints and shuffles can help you out if you are having a hard time finding moves.
    - Hints will show you an available pair.
    - Shuffles will change the arrangement of the cubes.
  - Use these sparingly, as they cost points.
    - Hints cost 3,000 points.

      - Making matches of animals which are further apart from each other gives you more time to make subsequent matches while keeping the chain bonus in tact.
  - At the end of the level, the game rewards you with an extra 30 points for every second remaining on the timer.
- Assistance
  - If you’re ever stuck, you can rely on shuffles and hints to assist you.
    - Hints highlight random available pairs on the field.
