How to Play

Create a bridge long enough to span a chasm before the T. rex gets you.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the white play button to begin. The hero last played will helpfully tap on it from time to time.
  • On the left are two buttons:
    • The hero selection button lets you pick a player character.
    • The information button plays a short animation on the game’s rules.
  • On the right are two buttons:
    • The sound button toggles the game’s audio.
    • The about button shows you the game developer’s vanity plate.
  • Your web browser saves your game progress and high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and hold to draw a bridge.
    • Release to drop the bridge.
    • Left click while the character walks to flip them.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers, tap and hold to draw the bridge.
    • Release to drop the bridge.
    • Tap to flip your character.
• Game Play
  • Interface
    • The pause button is located on the right side of the screen.
    • This becomes the home button when the game ends.
  • Basic gameplay
    • Create a bridge long enough to cross the chasm before the T. rex arrives.
      • You only have a limited time to do so. Hurry up.
    • There are 3 ways to die in this game:
      • If your bridge is too short, the dinosaur will eat you.
      • If your bridge is too long, a pterosaur will come to swipe it, and then the dinosaur will eat you.
      • If you don’t click or tap in time while running down the bottom side of the screen, you will plummet.
  • Scoring
    • You get 1 point for every chasm you cross.
    • Each time your bridge hits the purple point, you get an extra point.
  • Unlocking new characters
    • Unlock new characters by collecting eggs.
    • The only way to collect eggs is to switch which surface your player character is running on.
      • Do this when the character starts walking on the bridge
      • Flip to collect the eggs, then flip back to cross the other side.
      • Eggs in short paths are usually not worth the effort to retrieve. There’s usually too little time for you to flip back up.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for people of all ages who like mobile tap bridge building games.
