Anyway, even flying squirrels can’t actually “fly.” But Justin the ground squirrel doesn’t care what others think is possible. Fire him from a ballista and use various items to send him up, up, and away.

When you start plummeting, see if you can direct him toward coins and other power ups. This can give him the second wind needed to keep climbing up.
If you move to the edge of the screen, you will reappear at the other side of the screen. Use this to your advantage.
To make sure he keeps going up, collect coins.
The larger the coins, the bigger their value in the market.

You can also get an additional boost through various power ups.
Some power ups, like the balloon, the rocket, and the propeller, help Justin soar higher and faster for a brief time.

Coats will make you invisible and intangible, letting you dodge hazards.
See how much time you have left in each power up on the top right corner of the screen.
Collecting various things that are not power ups may be a hindrance to your ascent.
Potions, for instance, will make Justin small. This will compromise him ability to get items to stay aloft.
Iron weights will slow down Justin’s ascent.
Avoid hitting the spiked bottoms of some platforms.
Platforms give you a slight boost.
Some platforms have trampolines, which help you ascend faster.
Watch out for platforms with spiked bottoms.
You can upgrade all your power ups with the coins you’ve collected.
The propeller, the magnet, the balloon, and the rocket can be upgraded three times each.
The cost of each round of upgrades is 1,000, 2,500 and 6,000.
