At the bottom right of the screen is a series of dots representing the number of jars you can analyze.
The jar
Each level leads to a different jar with a different number of marbles inside.
You can rotate the jar in any direction. This will help you make more accurate guesses of the number of marbles inside the jar.
Improving your guesses
In the first levels, it’s all a matter of physically counting the marbles as you see them. As long as all the marbles are visible, this is a viable strategy.
After the marble pile goes up by 3 levels, it’s time to use math to solve your problem.
Tilt the container so you can see the bottom and count how many marbles appear across the bottom.
Following that, count the number of full levels of marbles there are.
Multiply the number of marbles in the bottom with the level of marbles in the jar below the top level.
Count the number of marbles in the topmost level if it is not full & add that to your prior number.
Make sure to separate the topmost level when making your guesses.

Alternate Methods to Estimate Item Quantities in Volumes
Our jar uses big marbles of equal size and you can rotate the jar to see them all. Actual estimating contests use an irregularly shaped object (jellybeans, usually). For these, you need a bit more math and other things like weight. Here are a few methods used to count them.
