How to Play

Find 12 items hidden in each scene. Find items rapidly and complete the scene quickly to activate score multiplier bonuses and the level time bonus.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the language you would like to play in from the game loading screen. You can choose to play in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch or Turkish.
  • Click on the PLAY button on the right side of the game’s welcome screen.
    • Your web browser automatically stores your game progress and level ratings.
  • The welcome screen has a full screen mode button in the upper left corner, a sound control button in the upper right corner, and buttons to change languages and read gameplay instructions under the PLAY button.
    • Instructions: Find objects, gain reputation, and unlock new scenes.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select a building to play.
    • When inside levels use your mouse left click button to select items from the bottom inside the scene.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with your finger to use it like a mouse.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The corners of the screen have the following buttons
      • top left: full screen mode
      • top right: sound control
      • bottom left: game menu
      • bottom right: hints button along with how many hints you have remaining
    • Across the top it shows how much time you have played the game for, a score bonus multiplier status, and your current level score.
• Game Play
  • Gameplay
    • Each time you play a scene you find a different set of items in a different order, and items may be positioned in different locations across the level.
      • Items can be in the foreground or background.
      • Some items have a high level of contrast while others do not.
    • The bottom center of the screen shows the 4 items you need to find.
      • Each time you find all 4 you are given a new set of items until the scene has been completed.
      • Levels have a total of 12 items to find in each.
      • Items will have the same orientation or position as shown at the bottom of the screen.
        • While the orientation may be the same, the location will vary.
        • Items can stand anywhere, be hidden on the wall, appear as part of the painting, appear as a print on the ground, etc.
      • You need to find the precise items shown. If there are 2 statues on a level or 3 buckets of paint you are only credited for finding the correct one.
      • Some items may be partially obscured.
        • Items can be obscured by another object, with only a portion of them showing from behind it.
        • The game buttons in the corners can also obscure views.
      • You are not penalized for click guessing.
    • If you get stuck
      • If you get stuck you have a number of options.
        • click the hints button in the lower right corner
        • click the menu button in the lower left corner and restart the level
        • scan in an alternate pattern
        • change the size of the game window
        • increase your contrast on your monitor
        • play a different scene
        • ask a friend for help
  • Scene Ratings
    • On each level you can score up to 4 stars.
      • Your start rating on each level if cumulative.
      • If you replay the level a number of times then your final rating for that level is created by adding your most recent score to the prior score.
      • You have to score above 170,000 points in each level to get a 4-star rating.
    • You score points based on finding items in rapid succession so the subsequent items activate the score bonus multiplier feature & you also score bonus points if you complete the level quickly.
      • Items start out with a value of 500 each, but you can get up to 3,000 for an item found at the peak of the multiplier bonus.
      • When you find an item you can remember where it is without selecting it and do so until you have found 3 or 4 items at once to maximize the sequence pattern bonus.
  • Scenes
    • The first scene of the game is unlocked by default
    • The second scene unlocks after a one star rating.
    • The third scene unlocks after a four star rating.
    • The fourth scene unlocks after a seven star rating.
    • You can choose to keep repeatedly playing a scene until you score a 4-star rating on it, or you can switch between scenes to mix things up.
    • After you beat a scene you can replay it as many times as you would like, but each scene can only provide 4 stars to your cumulative reputation.
