Hanukkah Word Search Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Select the words from the bottom of the puzzle wherever you find them inside the puzzle until all have been found.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the green and white play button on the game’s loading screen.
  • Select the gold GO button on the game’s welcome screen.
    • This will bring up the puzzle size select screen.
      • Small puzzles are a 7×7 grid of 49 squares. These puzzles have 10 words in them & all words are horizontal or vertical.
      • Big puzzles are a 12×12 grid of 144 squares. These puzzles have 15 words in them. Words may appear horizontal, vertically, or diagonally.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select the first letter of a word & then drag your mouse across to the last letter of the word then release.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to use a finger like a mouse.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Words found inside the puzzle have a circle around them.
    • Words at the bottom of the puzzle change colors after they are found.
    • There is a help button at the bottom of the screen which explains how the game works, and lets you restart the current puzzle, or make a new puzzle.
    • When the game has been completed the game over screen shows you how long it took you to find all the words.
• Game Play
  • Words in the puzzle which have been found have a golden circle around them
    • Letter tiles inside a word in the puzzle may be used to complete other words as well.
  • Words at the bottom of the screen turn from white to a teal color after you have found them.
  • When the game has been completed it will show how long it took you to finish the puzzle.
    • You can then choose to play another puzzle, or try another game on our site.

  • The game is suited for people who like playing word search games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
