How to Play

Select adjacent tiles with the same numerical values to merge them into a tile of the next sequential value. Repeat the process trying to make your way up to 10.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to start the game.
  • Select the green button on the game welcome screen to start the game.
  • The welcome screen has buttons under the play button which offer how to play advice and sound control.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select a group of adjacent cells which have the same numerical value.
    • While they are selected left click again to cause them to merge into a single cell of the next numerical value higher.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the tiles on the screen with your finger to select them and merge them.
  • The game has a pause button in the lower left corner.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • The board is a 5×5 grid with 25 cells in it.
    • You can merge any number of touching cells which have the same numerical value. Touching cells must be vertically or horizontally adjacent (rather than diagonally).
    • All selected cells will merge into a single cell located where you clicked to select them.
    • When cells merge new cells fall downward from the top.
    • You score points each time tiles merge.
    • The game does not end when you get to 10, but keeps going until you have no valid moves remaining.
  • Strategy
    • When considering pairs to match think through the subsequent moves. Which other tiles will fall and to where.
    • Generally there is little risk in breaking vertical sets, but breaking horizontal sets can displace the relative placements of many cells above.
    • Try not to let low number tiles get low on the board & try to level them up as quickly as you can so that they do not leave part of the row stuck.
    • When in doubt between where to make moves typically the middle 3 columns yield more opportunities than using either left or right edge column, as the relative motion of new tiles sliding downward can match with tiles on the left or tiles on the right.
