How to Play

As Gizmo Rabbit, launch your old-timey bicycle off a cliff and see how far you can go. Attach more and more gizmos to the bike to increase your speed… probably.

• Starting the Game
  • On the top right corner of the welcome screen are the following buttons:
    • Select Play to begin the game in earnest.
    • Select How to Play to learn the game’s controls.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Use the W key to keep driving forward while still on the ground.
      • Use the A and D keys to adjust your rotation while you fly.
      • Each time you add an upgrade that you can operate, it receives its own key. The key changes each time you crash and start over, so pay attention.
    • With your mouse, left click and drag to each component to position.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • This game is not supported on mobile devices.
    • Although the game might load on other touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • As Gizmo Rabbit, drive your bicycle as high as you can and see how far you can fly.
    • If you crash, add another device to the bike to make improvements.
    • Rinse and repeat for as long as you can.
    • The game has no “true” ending.
      • Keep playing as long as you can attach more parts to your flying bike.
      • If you can no longer attach any part to the mess of items you have, you can always start over by selecting the home button.
  • Upgrades
    • General rules
      • You receive a random upgrade each time you crash.
        • You also have the option to re-roll the upgrade exactly once. These are also random.
        • To continue, you must add whatever upgrade you receive or re-roll.
      • You must place an upgrade somewhere in your bike to keep playing.
        • You can only add components, not remove them.
        • The components range from functional to cosmetic. Some are downright silly.
    • Placement, usage, and function
      • To place a component, move it toward a node in the bike.
        • If the node goes white, that is a valid place to attach the component.
        • If the node is red, look for another node.
        • The game effectively ends if you are unable to find a node for the new component.
      • All components may help you increase your distance traveled in a number of ways.
        • Even “cosmetic” or silly upgrades will distribute your weight differently. They can act as a counterbalance to keep your bike moving at a correct angle.
        • Functional components can either slow your descent or increase your speed.
        • Many components can add more slots to your bike. Pay attention to these when looking for space to add new components.
      • Upgrades will significantly alter the way your bike works just by being heavy. You will need to change the way you tilt the bike as you add more items.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple flying games.
  • In real life, keep your bikes away from cliffs. Leave this sort of thing to Gizmo Rabbit.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
