The first few levels start off pretty easy. But along the way, expect to solve more elaborate courses. Beyond scoring a goal, you have to figure out the correct angle and force to kick your ball. If you miss a goal, or if you’re not sure about your angle, you can always reset the level. The good news is it has no time limits.

As an added challenged, it takes a while to get used to the angles. You must click the ball twice. First, you set the angle of the ball. Second, you establish how much force you need to kick the ball. There are times you need to kick it at odd angles, depending on the course. Just take your time figuring out your move. At it’s heart, Footstar a fun and engaging game. It encourages critical thinking skills and patience.

Your must kick the ball into the goal while collecting the stars along the way. Later levels in the game have elaborate obstacles you must get around. To get the highest possible score, catch all three stars and get the ball into the goal.

To kick, you must tap twice. The first determines the angle, whereas the second decides the force. The force and angle meters fluctuate. You must press them at the right time to get the desired combination. Unlike most puzzle games, you can play any of the levels off the bat. Most of the replay value comes in finding each level’s winning combination of angle and force.
