Basic
Choose the pairs of fractions that make up one whole
Pick a pair of fractions from the field on the left side of the screen.
Each time you make a successful pair, it forms a 1.
The 1 is fed to the fraction monster on the right side of the screen.
Keep making pairs until the fraction monster grows to the size goal.
The size goal chart is shown on the bottom right corner.
Above the monster chart is a tracker for the number of strikes (incorrect pairs) you make.
See how fast you can pair the fractions using the timer on the top right corner.
Tips
For a pair of fractions to equal 1, the sum of its numerators (top part) must be equal to their denominators.
As a rule, it’s easier to add fractions that share the same denominator.
Here, you only need to add the numerators; the denominators stay as they are.
A good way to look at it is to think of the line as a division symbol. Any number divided by itself equals 1.
