Controls & indicators
The upper left corner shows which level number you are on.
Your cumulative game score is shown top center.
Remaining time is shown in the upper right.
The lower left corner has 3 buttons for sound control, music control & full screen mode.
The lower right corner has 3 buttons for pause, clue, and shuffle tiles.
A stone (or tile) is considered open if at least 2 of its sides (excluding top or bottom) are accessible.
Tiles which are open turn a brighter color when selected & show in the upper left of the playing field when selected.
Stones which are not open will not change colors when you select them.
When no matches remain the tiles are automatically shuffled.
Conversely, this means that if the tiles have not shuffled you know there is at least 1 open match remaining.
Selected tiles will appear in the upper left.
If you chose the wrong tile then selecting any other non-matching tile will deselect the prior tile.
Some tiles can obscure part of other tiles, so repeating the playing field is a must.
Generally it is best to go for the widest rows and higher stones first to open up a variety of play options & to not have the higher stones obfuscate your view of lower ones.
It is easy to get disoriented while spinning the playing field, so it can be helpful to select tiles which are visible from a particular view so long as such matches are easily available.
A tile does not need to be fully viewable to select it. You can select the corner of a tile which is mostly obfuscated and still have that count as part of a match.
If you see two of the same tile in a row early in a level and one of them is not open try to pair off the outer one to open up the inner one.
If you have almost completed the board and you see a stone stuck in the middle then odds are there is only 1 remaining set of 3 of that stone type, so it makes sense to match other stones first to open up that one locked stone.
There are 40 different board layouts in this game.
Each level has a unique time limit, with more complex level designs giving you more time.
You beat a level by removing all stones from the playing field.
Each level is unlocked sequentially.
If you fail to beat a level before the timer runs out you can choose to end your game or try again.
Your game score is cumulative across levels.
Each triple match you make is worth 100 points.
Each time you use a hint it costs you 150 points.
Each time you shuffle the tiles it costs you 500 points.
You score bonus points for the time you have remaining when you beat a level.
Each second you have remaining when the level is beat is worth 30 points.
The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire games.
